Let us handle the headache.

We provide every product and service you need to build a ministry of bellringing

How We Can Help

Does your architect know the specific design features that are required for Orthodox church bellringing? Every year, churches spend thousands of dollars designing towers that are totally unsuited for bellringing. This means extensive retrofitting down the road to accommodate the bells, ringing system, and bellringer.

We will guide your team through all phases of design and construction to make sure your belfry is designed specifically for functional church bellringing.

Importing Orthodox church bells is a logistical nightmare. Don’t spend hours and hours on the phone, writing emails, navigating the import process, and meeting with multiple contractors.

Buying bells for your church should not be a hassle.

Discover the perfect set of bells for your church, cast specifically for you by one of our Foundry partners with custom inscriptions and icons. The price of your new bells includes every product and service that you’ll need to get from “we need bells!” to the moment you hear your newly-trained parishioners ringing before the Divine Liturgy for the very first time.

We’ll personally install your bells with custom metal brackets, and design and install the ringing system.

If you want the ringing to sound good, using the traditional ringing system that allows all the bells to be rung by just one person is not optional. Unfortunately, most Orthodox churches in North America have bells that are installed and rung incorrectly.

Stop wondering if you’re doing it right. Enroll in our online video training courses and learn to ring with confidence and mental clarity.

Need in-person, hands-on training? We can do that too.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much do bells cost?

Depending on the size and number, a full set of Orthodox church bells costs between $20,000 and $200,000. This price includes design work, international shipping and delivery, installation with ringing system setup, and both in-person and online education for all your bellringers.

How many bells does my church need?

The size and number of the bells should be in proportion to the size and prominence of the church. For a mission or skete, 5–7 small bells is reasonable, whereas a cathedral or large monastery should have 9–14 bells, including several large “Evangelists.”

What is the most common error churches make with their bells?

Many churches in North America have put their bells on ground-level stands with the smallest bells on a higher beam and the larger bells on a lower beam. This makes it impossible to implement the ringing system and exposes the bells to an increased risk of theft.

Why should bells be placed in a tower?

Church bells call people to prayer who are are not already inside the church. Bells placed indoors or on a ground-level stand prevents their sound from traveling over the whole neighborhood. As a result, bells are often seen as merely a musical accompaniment for the enjoyment of the congregation.

Why should we use the ringing system?

Just like it would be awkward and difficult to play a guitar with 2, 3, or even 4 people, Orthodox church bells are intended to be rung by one person. The result is far more powerful, musical, and enjoyable to hear. You can also ring at daily services when there’s only 1 person available.

Why is 5 the minimum number of bells needed to ring?

Orthodox bellringing is characterized by layered rhythms. That layering is created by 3 distinct groups of bells: Small, Middle, and Large. To create the rhythmic effect, you need at least 2 bells in each group, except for the largest (2+2+1=5).
